10AM-12 PM

A special treat to have two university faculty lead this trip into the University's 400 acre outdoor research area south of Fletcher Ave and bordered by the Hillsborough River on the east. Dr Gordon Fox is a professor in the Department of Integrative Biology of the College of Arts and Sciences and his specialty areas are Plant Ecology and Conservation Biology. Our other leader will be Laurie Walker, Director of USF Botanical Gardens. This site has both wetlands and uplands to explore. http://facilities.cas.usf.edu/forestpreserve/

Bring lunch, water and snacks. Lunch at Riverfront Park (USF property) on Hillsborough River.  Leader: Gail Parsons 813-928-1412 (cell)  gailpar1@verizon.net
